Inventário quali-quantitativo da arborização urbana do município de Caçapava do Sul, RS

Abstract

Considering the important role that the urban arborization develops in the conservation of the biodiversity and in the improvement of the quality of life of the resident population in the urban environment, the careful planning of these areas must be a predicted factor to obtain a good urban management. Thus, this work aims to qualitatively and quantitatively inventory the urban afforestation situation in the municipality of Caçapava do Sul, the areas considered in this study are comprised by the square Dr. Rubens da Rosa Guedes, Square Osvaldo Aranha, Square Mathias Campos Velho, Square Largo Farroupilha, Avenue Pinheiro Machado, Avenue Castelo Branco e Avenue Alfredo Duarte. The Strong Dom Pedro II and the Park Fonte do Mato were considered, only, to estimate the Index of Green Areas of the municipality. The individuals sampled were identified for their botanical family, species and common name, the general average height by species, height of the first branch and DAP, factors related to biology such as phytosanitary and general condition, surroundings and interferences, as well as actions performed quality. In all, 762 individuals from 64 species were identified among 34 different botanical families, accounting for 0,03 individuals per inhabitant. A high index of species of exotic origin (59,6%) was observed. The species with the highest frequency in the afforestation is the Ligustrum lucidum (Ligustro), an exotic species of invasive origin of the botanical family Lythraceae, corresponding to 18,4% of the total sampled individuals. Of the total number of individuals identified, 24% presented some type of problem, either by parasitism or by negative interactions with urban structures. The municipality of Caçapava do Sul-RS, has 2,59 m² of public green area per inhabitant. Leaving to be desired in quality, how much diversity and of force plants, and amount of afforestation available to its inhabitants.
