Gênero em guerra: uma análise da gênesis da guerra a partir da perspectiva da teoria feminista

Abstract

The inclusion of gender debates in International Security at the end of the Cold War, provided the International Relations biggest enlargement issues related to women in war and in international policies developed from a feminist perspective. Thus, feminist theory in International Security, seeks to address the multidimensional and multilevel way the various ways that patriarchy infers in international relations and thus identify ways to combat and actions necessary for the emancipation of women in the international arena. Where feminist theory seeks to expose the androcentric construction of the world and, consequently, its policies built from bases centered on male and Western figure, listing the emancipation of women in international relations is seen as empirical to build an egalitarian system in decision-making, is the wide gender participation in decision making and in social conceptions would generate more targeted formulations for the individual, moving away from the rigid structure of states in which the formulations are composed. Since the destructuralization generated from the oppressed feminization becomes the marginalized before state decisions where this work challenges the traditional view of international politics focused on security issues, expanding this criticism to include the war as a crucial factor for perpetuating the precariousness of life and the various forms of subordination.
