A corporeidade na perspectiva dos terreiros de matriz africana em um ambiente urbano pós-moderno

Abstract

This work it is the completion of an academic stage in the process of knowledge construction, we chose a path that indicates the possibilities of moving the world of corporeality, conceptualizing it minimally and understanding the historical conditions that have relegated the body the inferiority condition. We attempted to authors to substantiate our attempt to search where from the readings rescued the historical understanding of the body, the intention always there to break it the perspective of duality and the theories that realize this body as having history, culture and policy. Theoretically we present this foundation that enabled us to build the necessary rapprochement between the religious communities of African origin and Physical Education. The aim of this study reveal other development areas of corporeality, respecting their particularities, their sacred and its symbols, but above all allowing these manifestations occupy the academic setting, helping to demystify the misunderstanding of religions of African origin, break the social and attitudinal bonds, and envisage a more committed Physical Education with respect for diversity and the development of the subject in its entirety. If the university is a plural space, the many historical and cultural dimensions also need to be part of this universe.
