Os fatores que influenciam a escolha dos alunos na E.E.E.P.D.P. em continuar a sua formação no Agronegócio

Abstract

When dealing with factors that influence a professional choice, it can be said that the individual in passing through this process suffers influences such as: cultural, family, social, values, creed, as well as influences of the various groups in which they are Inserted. It is understood that knowing these factors that influence the choices of high school students is a very important step for education. The purpose of this study is to investigate the reasons that lead high school students integrated into the Agropecuario of the State School of Vocational Education Dom Pedrito / RS to continue their training in Agribusiness after the conclusion of High School. So after characterizing the profile of the students, it was sought to identify what most influences the students to choose a profession and if possible to enter one of the courses offered by the Federal University of Pampa. The sample was composed of 125 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students. A questionnaire was used to achieve the objectives of the study. Data were collected in May 2017. The study analyzed that the family is the main factor of interference in the choice of profession, influencing the student to continue his studies in the Agribusiness sector. Besides the family, the area in which the student works has significant interference in this process. The data also point out that students who intend to continue in the area of Agribusiness seek for a better future and the realization of a dream. All this related to Consumer Theory, generates enough expectations regarding the family, once it was discovered how important it is for young people when it comes to professional choice. Data indicate that 61.6% of the sample wants to continue with their training in Agribusiness, however, only 40.8% wish to attend some course at Unipampa - Campus Dom Pedrito.
