Sob os rastros dos trilhos: rota turística em Jaguarão/RS

Abstract

The present work aims to create a tourist route that recalls the perspective of rail transport in Jaguarão / RS, by means of a walk along the tracks, with the purpose of bringing to the fore the history of the train in the city and its importance, Seeking to develop pedagogical tourism for all interested (indigenous and tourists). The proposal is justified by the importance of Jaguarão in the history of the Gaucho railroad, but mainly by the interconnection between the countries Brazil and Uruguay. In view of these facts, the present study is based on qualitative research of an applied nature, carried out through bibliographical and documentary research. It is estimated that through the proposal to create a tourist route that starts at the place of greatest tourist flow currently in the municipality (Barão de Mauá International Bridge), a new look can be awakened from this consumer / tourist to the destination Jaguarão and its other Potentialities, thus promoting the visitation of more tourists, then the generation of jobs and income, the commercialization and sale of local products, development municipal economy local, in addition to providing knowledge and valuation of something that is no longer active But which in the past was synonymous with progress and progress to destination Jaguarão. Thinking about the tourist route "Under the tracks" is to think again about progress and progress to the city, now through direct tourism.
