Sexualidade, gênero e BNCC: divergências e confluências nos meios educacionais

Abstract

The interest in researching this topic occurred due to the need to bring the discussion about sexuality and gender to the academic setting. It is clear that in our daily lives this topic is little explored both in academic circles and in basic education. Therefore, this work focused on applying a pedagogical intervention with the theme of sexuality and gender at the Escola Municipal Rural de Ensino Fundamental Sucessão dos Moraes and, thus, investigating the students' perception of the difference between anatomical sex and gender, working on the theme of sexuality and gender through an educational practice and probe the occurrence of bullying at school due to sexual orientation. This research presented a qualitative approach. In relation to the means of investigation, it is characterized as documentary research, as the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) document was used to understand the topic addressed and also addresses other public order documents in order to complement the understanding of the State's duty. in offering an Education that respects the sexual diversity of society in current times. To collect data, a questionnaire with semi-structured questions on the topic of sexuality and gender was applied to students. Shortly after applying the questionnaire, a pedagogical intervention was proposed with the help of the Genderbread Person, where the leading teacher was consulted and agreed to the activity. To conclude the pedagogical intervention, the students asked anonymous questions regarding the topic and deposited them in a box. When presenting the results, readers will be presented with an analysis of the results of the questionnaire and the questions asked anonymously by the students. Therefore, it is expected that this work will systematically contribute to the attribution of effective guidelines for the development of this topic in schools, in order to emphasize the importance of critical thinking around the subject.
