Entrega voluntária: maternidade compulsória e as implicações para a entrega voluntária de crianças por mulheres

Abstract

The aim of this study is to reflect on how patriarchy is relevant in compulsory motherhood and the implications for the voluntary delivery of children. With the general objective: to analyze how it configures the relationship between women, maternity and the voluntary delivery of children in current Brazilian society from the patriarchy as a system of domination. The research was of the qualitative type, the bibliographic research was used as a methodological procedure in articles in the areas of: social work and psychology. For the analysis of reality, the critical dialectical method was used, where the following categories were chosen: patriarchy, motherhood, family, voluntary delivery, maternal compulsion and feminism. As a result, it was identified that the patriarchal society has the relevance of the subordination of women in relation to men, since the female sex, since a girl, is imposed to be maternal and when the woman, when delivering the child, feels judged and guilty, in the which society refers to this maternal compulsion, the motives for the delivery and the woman's will to exercise or not exercise motherhood are not considered.
