Percepções acerca da Lei Antimanicomial na visão do profissional da área de saúde mental no RS

Abstract

The present work deals with the impacts caused by Law 10.216/01 on the work of mental health professionals in Rio Grande do Sul and how this changed in the care and the treatment of its patients will be the object of the study. In addition, we also sought to understand the history of madness throughout of time, and the emergence of the security measure in the Brazilian legal system. The method used was qualitative with the scope of empirically analyzing the changes to the legislation, in addition to a bibliographic research. Posteriorly research was carried out on how the Brazilian psychiatric reform took place and how the Anti-Asylum Law and the particularities of said legislation. finally it was interviews with different experts working in the health sector mental health in different cities, namely: Porto Alegre, Rio Grande and Santana do Livramento, soon after the questionnaires were analyzed to obtain the answer about the changes brought about by the advent of the Anti-Asylum Law, the challenges and achievements brought about this ordering will be the scope of the work.
