Registros enquadrados na lei Maria da Penha realizados pela brigada militar da fronteira oeste do Rio Grande do Sul

Abstract

This study aimed to know the number of attendances made by the Brigada Militar of the 1º Batalhão de Policiamento de Área de Fronteira (1st BAPF) the women victims of violence by Maria da Penha Law. It is an exploratory descriptive quantitative research, developed in the Brigada Militar of the 1st BAPF, located in a city of the western border of the Rio Grande do Sul state in the period from January to December 2014. The data collection was of retrospective type and carried through the records of bulletins attendances of the victims, analyzed and interpreted in percentages. Through this study we were able to know the number of attendances made by the Brigada Militar of the 1st BAPF the women victims of violence classified in the Maria da Penha Law. Which totaled 565 (18.26%) calls leading the ranking of 3.094 calls in the year 2014. It allowed to know the number of women who had protective measures during the period 2014 in the study area, showing in this way that a significative number them around 205 (36.30%) needed state protection. Also found that of the 565 services provided by the Brigada Militar of the 1st BAPF, 278 (49.20%) aggressors were referred to the Civil Police to register the occurrence. It was possible to know the regions that showed this grievance as well, the times of highest incidence of violence against women from victims registered in the Service Bulletin of the Brigada Militar of the 1st BAPF, thus enabling mapping of the violent regions in the city under study. It is believed that the data found in this research can cooperate for future work in order to know the various aspects involving violence against women in a region of the Border West of the Rio Grande do Sul State, and to strengthen the implementation of the woman care network in this region.
