O significado de uma escola do campo para os sujeitos que vivem no assentamento Alto Alegre

Abstract

This research is part of the course work by the Federal University of Pampa - UNIPAMPA, titled the meaning of a rural school for the subjects living in the Alto Alegre settlement, located in the 2nd sub-district of Caveiras - Campo Seco, in the municipality of Dom Pedrito- RS. In this research, I try to respond to some concerns that at another moment have awakened the questioning about the closure of rural schools. Still, through this research I search the perceptions and identify the meaning of the school of the field for the community of Alto Alegre settlement. With this research I intend to corroborate in the construction of an education of the field oriented by the meanings based on the subjects, valuing the collective and the struggle process, respecting the diversity of each one involved in the educational and territorial context and listing values and knowledge that come consolidate the existence of this school. In order to develop the present research, I stopped at the qualitative methodology, in which having as sources studies in bibliographical research, documentary research giving subsidies to the data collected from interviews and observations, being the interview one of the most important instruments in this research. Through the same I try to emphasize to the community the importance of it being part of the school context and the school what it means for this community, nevertheless when it is mentioned in the research about school of the field it refers us the policy of agrarian reform in Brazil, and with it to the demands of the rural people for a quality school. The rural school, in addition to preparing the student for citizenship, still leads him to realize how important he is in the field. Therefore, I emphasize the importance of the territory and the community for the country school, to exist from a space or place with their respective actors. Considering that this work brought to the researcher a deepening and unique knowledge that made possible the execution of the research in front of the school community, teachers and the employee of E.M.E.F Sepé Tiaraju.
