Avaliação funcional pelo método de serventia e uso de aplicativo de smartphone para auxiliar na gerência de pavimentos asfálticos

Abstract

With the increasing growth of the vehicle fleet across the country, it is necessary to create new technologies for the management of flexible pavements, whether rural or urban. The main objective of this work is to verify the possibility of using smartphones to verify the longitudinal irregularity of urban pavements and to correlate with the Current Useful Value method, already consolidated for this purpose. The work was carried out in the city of São Gabriel, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, where 20 sections of flexible pavements were evaluated using a smartphone with the SmartIRI application and using the Value of Current Usefulness (VSA), the evaluation covered sections of pavements of varying ages, sections with many repairs, and sections that have not been repaired for a long time. After data collection, evaluations and notes were made of which sections should be repaired or reconstructed in descending order of priority, as well as the types of repair to be performed. Of the more than 33 thousand meters of flexible pavement evaluated, the study showed that 96% of the pavements were in good condition and maintained an average IRI of 2.81 m/km, while for the VSA, 28% of the sections were evaluated with a classified concept as good and having the other concepts with better distributed values. It is understood that the objectives proposed by the work were achieved and the results were satisfactory, with the exception that new studies must be carried out, with the improvement of applications and the correlation with other flexible pavement evaluation tools.
