Estudo de implementação de pomar de frutas regionais em um escola municipal rural no município de Dom Pedrito-RS.

Abstract

Este projeto é uma proposta para avaliar o interesse de uma Comunidade Escolar Rural na implementação de quintais de frutas regionais, bem como auxiliar na melhoria da qualidade da alimentação escolar e o desenvolvimento de uma consciência da educação ambiental, no Município de Dom Pedrito. O objetivo principal foi estudar a possibilidade da implantação de um projeto piloto de plantio de árvores frutíferas regionais em uma Escola Municipal Rural em Dom Pedrito/RS. Inicialmente realizou-se uma revisão bibliográfica buscando conceitos de autores relacionados ao tema. Posteriormente foi realizada uma pesquisa de campo, iniciada através da realização de uma palestra introdutória para os professores e alunos sobre os objetivos do projeto, importância sobre a alimentação saudável, conservação ambiental, informações sobre as características das árvores frutíferas regionais propostas para serem implantadas com o projeto, dentre outras. Neste contexto, também foram repassadas informações sobre o sistema de plantio que será utilizado, após implantação do projeto. Após essas ações os sujeitos, professores e alunos, responderam um questionário elaborado pelo pesquisador. Ressalta-se que o objetivo desta pesquisa é avaliar a viabilidade da implantação do projeto de plantio de frutas regionais, sendo a implantação uma ação posterior. Foi constatado que a maioria dos alunos tem interesse em participar do projeto,bem como, em relação à implantação, manutenção e benefício para alimentação e educação dos alunos, 100% dos professores responderam de forma positiva às questões. Considerou-se que o presente trabalho, foi muito importante, tanto para o pesquisador como para a comunidade escolar pesquisada, os dados mostraram o perfil sobre o consumo de frutas dos sujeitos e a real possibilidade de implantação de um pomar na escola

This project is a proposal to evaluate the interest of a Rural School Community in the implementation of regional fruit gardens as well as assist in improving the quality of school meals and the development of an awareness of environmental education in the city of Dom Pedrito. The main objective was to study the possibility of implementing a pilot project to plant fruit trees in a Rural School in Dom Pedrito / RS. Initially we carried out a literature review seeking concepts of authors related to the topic. Subsequently a field survey, initiated by performing an introductory lecture to teachers and students about the project objectives, the importance of healthy eating, environmental conservation, information on the characteristics of regional fruit trees proposals was held to be deployed with project, among others. In this context, were also passed on information about the plantation system that will be used after the project implementation. After these actions the subjects, teachers and students completed a questionnaire prepared by the researcher. It is emphasized that the objective of this research is to evaluate the feasibility of implementing the project of planting local fruit, and the deployment later action. It was found that most students are interested in participating in the project as well as in relation to implementation, maintenance and money for food and education of students, 100% of teachers responded positively to positive issues. It was felt that this work was very important, both for researchers and for the school community studied, the data showed the profile on the consumption of fruits of subjects and the real possibility of developing an orchard at school.
