Diagnóstico do sistema de prevenção de incêndio de prédio público municipal de Alegrete

Abstract

The objective of this work was to verify the current situation of the Municipal Public Building Fire Prevention System in relation to the Fire Prevention and Protection Plan, in view of the current legislation: Kiss Law created as a result of the most recent tragedy in Santa Maria / RS in the year 2013. The present work has proposed to carry out a detailed study in the four blocks of the Municipal Public Administration of the city of Alegrete / RS with respect to the Prevention and Protection Plan against Fire Law No. 14.924 / 2016, approved On September 22, 2016 by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio Grande do Sul with respect to the Fire Prevention and Protection System. The Fire Prevention and Protection Plan is a legal and mandatory requirement for the issuance of the fire prevention and protection permit for buildings. The PPCI is an instrument that evaluates all aspects from the prevention of fire occurrence as the protection of the life of the occupants in case of fire. PPCI is often not executed because of neglect, negligence or the occurrence of adaptations, among other factors. In order to reach the objectives proposed in this work, methodological procedures such as: checklist, field visits with data collection, reading of technical books, technical resolutions, decrees, laws, normative instructions, ABNT norms and photographic production of the material were used. To the proposed inquiries. The building of the Secretary of Finance presented the worst security result; The Infrastructure Secretary did not meet most of the proposed items. On the other hand, it is necessary to emphasize adaptations like accessibility, handrails in the accesses of the building of the Secretary of Social Assistance. It is concluded that the prevention and protection methods described in the PPCI project and adopted in the analyzed public buildings do not meet all the norms of the new legislation: Law No. 14,924 of September 22, 2016, approved by CBMRS.
